FPG Career and Recruiting Advice

March 7, 2017

Frontline Performance Group (FPG) was represented at the University of Central Florida (UCF), College of Business Administration Career Professionalism Employer Panel. The panel discussion titled “Sources of Hire” covered topics such as passive sourcing, referral programs, campus recruiting activities, and methods that candidates can implement to stand out when applying to positions at FPG.

“This panel is an excellent opportunity to share some essential insights on how the world of recruiting operates, proving there is no cookie-cutter approach to getting hired. Students interested in a career in the consulting field do not have the luxury to spend their summers doing internships, said FPG panelist Laura McDonough, PHR, SHRM-CP. Many students work their way up in these fields throughout their college career and that is exactly the kind of experience we look for in a candidate.”

McDonough tapped into her experience at FPG to inspire students to believe in their fullest potential. “It is also a great opportunity to promote our values—foremost, believing in the potential of people—too young professionals who will soon be entering the workforce. As a former Career Coach at UCF, I am very excited to return to discuss these exciting topics with students and hear from their stories and experiences. Regardless of where you are in your career, you never stop learning.”
