FPG Acquires DB&A

June 5, 2018

One year after FPG acquired DB&A, the two entities move forward as a single brand, focused on delivering the world’s first revenue optimization and performance management technology to the hospitality industry

Incremental revenue technology and consulting firm Frontline Performance Group (FPG) today announced the retirement of Drake Beil & Associates (DB&A) LLC. After acquiring the company in Q3 of 2017, FPG introduced its technology and consulting services to all DB&A client properties, which will operate under the FPG blueprint going forward. Total upsell revenue at these properties increased by nearly $1 million year-on-year in the first quarter of 2018.

“Our proven success at these properties allows everyone, including the former DB&A clients, to confidently move forward solely under the FPG business model,” said FPG President and CMO Geoffrey Toffetti. “Thanks in large part to the strong relationships DB&A has cultivated in the industry, our reach has expanded significantly, and we are now driving frontline engagement, performance, and revenue at more than 500 hotel properties.”

The timing of this decision corresponds with the upcoming rollout of gamification within FPG’s revenue optimization software, IN-Gauge. “The overwhelming success of IN-Gauge has out-performed even our own expectations, and clients are beyond excited for the launch of gamification,” said Toffetti.

As DB&A President and Founder Drake Beil join the FPG board, he believes the future is bright: “I am very excited about the development of IN-Gauge, and the many applications of Frontline’s technology,” said Beil. “With IN-Gauge, we can support and enhance the performance of associates in so many more hotels, resorts, and other verticals, like call centers, car rentals, and attractions. This technology will change the way we think about increasing frontline contribution to the bottom line. I am honored to be part of the FPG tribe.”
